Practical Information
Patients generally need to be quite motivated to undergo this surgery because scarring is often moderately noticeable, especially when wearing sleeveless garments.
Liposuction is generally performed on the underside of the arm.

Arms
In general, patients have one of two problems concerning their arms:
- Their arms are too large. This can be repaired using delicate liposuction. The skin of the arm lacks elasticity making aggressive liposuction impossible.
- They have flabby arms. Flabby arms can be treated with an arm lift. Arm lifts consist in tightening up the skin and removing extra skin. Scars are generally located in the fold of the armpit or on the inner side of the arm.
These scars are sometimes slightly visible.
The procedure takes place on an outpatient basis and pain is mild.
Post-operatory bandaging is indispensable.
