Aesthetic medicine has now become a medical specialisation in its own right.  Either in association with, or to complement surgery, it can help with the main requirements associated with lines, wrinkles, excess volume, skin blemishes, varicose veins, hair removal, aesthetic dentistry, slimming, anti-ageing.

 

As opposed to aesthetic surgery which needs medical support services back-up, aesthetic medicine is carried out in the practitioner's surgery.
