Mammary hypertrophy is an excess of volume generally associated with sagging of the breasts and sometimes with assymetry. Hypertrophy is generally not related to weight but to heredity. Hypertrophy usually involves the mammary gland.

 

The goal of this surgical procedure is to reduce breast volume, to correct sagging and asymmetry, if necessary, in order to obtain more harmonious breasts.

 

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia with a hospital stay of one or two days.

During your first visit, I will explain my operating technique, including scar placement and size, as well as final breast volume.

 

Elastic bandages are used to bind the breasts after surgery. The bandages are replaced by a sports bra 24 hours later.The results of this operation: curving contour, symmetry, natural look and fading of scars, can be appreciated one year after surgery.
